2iC is delighted to announce the appointment of John Patterson CB FIET as non-executive chair of 2iC Limited.
John brings a wide range of previous experience in the Ministry of Defence, at Strategic Command, and working at a senior level with the UK’s close allies and industry partners.
After 36 years in the British Army and reaching the rank of major general, John has a second career as an advisor to a portfolio of young businesses, all of which are developing world-class, innovative technology, in the national interest.
John is also an advisory board member at the UK Innovation & Science Seed Fund, which invests in tech companies emerging from the UK’s research base, and at Bean Partners, a mid-market financial advisory firm which supports ambitious CEOs aiming to maximise their valuation and raise capital.
John’s governance experience will support the processes, practices and policies that help 2iC grow in a resilient and sustainable manner.
We will also be leveraging John’s broader commercial experience to help us deliver 2iC’s CORE software, significantly improving digital interoperability for our clients in defence and security across the UK, the 5-Eyes nations and NATO.
